Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern the website design, development, hosting and ongoing support services (the "Services") provided by ZJL Website Builder ("ZJL", "we", "us") to you (the "Client"). By engaging our Services or making payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

ZJL provides custom website design and development, domain registration, hosting, SSL provisioning, and continuing maintenance. Project scope, timelines and deliverables are agreed in writing prior to commencement of work.

3. Pricing & Payment

• Once-off build: a one-time fee of $399 AUD covers custom design, development, launch, SSL, advanced SEO setup and AI features.
• Monthly subscription: $45 AUD per month covers everything in the build plus hosting, unlimited edits, monitoring, backups, continuous SEO and priority support.
• Domain: the Client purchases their own domain name and ZJL reimburses (compensates) the cost. If the Client already owns a domain, ZJL will use the existing domain at no extra charge.
• Payment methods: secure card payment via Stripe and direct bank transfer. Payment details are confirmed by SMS prior to commencement.
• All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Where applicable, recurring fees are billed every 30 days from the date the site goes live.

4. Cancellation by the Client

You may cancel the recurring service at any time by providing written notice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current 30-day billing period. Build fees are non-refundable once development has commenced.

5. Business Continuity

In the unlikely event that ZJL ceases trading or discontinues the Services, we commit to providing the Client with written notice no less than 30 days and up to 90 daysprior to service termination. During this notice period we will, where reasonably possible, assist with the export of your website files, transfer of your domain name to a registrar of your choice, and provide guidance to ensure a smooth transition to an alternative provider.

6. Intellectual Property

On full payment of all fees due, the Client owns the final design, content, and code produced specifically for their website. ZJL retains rights to any underlying frameworks, libraries, and reusable components developed in the course of providing the Services.

7. Uptime & Support

We target 99.5% monthly uptime and respond to support requests during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm AEST). Scheduled maintenance is communicated in advance wherever possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZJL's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services is limited to the total fees paid by the Client in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss including loss of profits, revenue, or data.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
